Ascentris and Huntington Industrial Partners Stabilize Industrial Property in Dallas
Denver, Colorado (March 19, 2019) – Ascentris and Huntington Industrial Partners (together, the “Partnership”) announced today that 1201 Big Town, a 508,500 sf Class “A” industrial property in Dallas, TX, is now fully leased. Ascentris, on behalf of one of its public retirement system clients, partnered with Huntington Industrial Partners, a fully integrated industrial owner and operator, to acquire the Property in May 2013. The investment was part of Ascentris’ larger industrial strategy, which focused on acquiring well-located industrial properties that Ascentris believed were undervalued. Constructed in 2007, the Property is located at 1201 Big Town Boulevard within the East Dallas submarket of Mesquite, offering close proximity to Interstate-30 and Interstate-635. The Partnership recently executed a lease with Hayes Company, a national logistics and fulfillment company, bringing the property to 100% leased. Hayes joins existing credit tenants CHEP USA, a global supply chain solutions provider, and First Choice Medical Supply, a medical supply distribution company. The Stream Realty team of Matt Dornak and Adam Jones leased the Property on behalf of the Partnership.
“We are pleased to welcome Hayes Company to 1201 Big Town,” said Ascentris Managing Director Tricia Noble. “The Mesquite market continues to see strong tenant demand due to its central location, large and growing population base, diverse labor pool and outstanding transportation infrastructure. The Huntington and Stream teams did a great job of securing the Hayes lease and successfully stabilizing the Property,” added Noble.
