Ascentris Continues its Hiring Spree to Position the Firm for Growth
Denver, Colorado (July 8, 2019) – Ascentris, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, announced today the hiring of several new team members. The most recent to join the firm is Nikko Politis, who will serve as a Vice President responsible for sourcing, managing and disposing of investments across the U.S., with a specific focus on new opportunities in Northern California and Arizona.
Nikko Politis joins Ascentris with over a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, most recently serving as a Vice President at Jamestown. Mr. Politis worked in various capacities, including sourcing, asset management and fundraising for Jamestown U.S and Jamestown Latin America. Prior to Jamestown, Mr. Politis worked as an Associate at Starwood Capital Group, and previously was part of the Real Estate Investment Banking group at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he was responsible for debt, equity and investment sales transactions. Mr. Politis graduated from the University of Virginia, where he studied Economics, Commerce and Psychology.
Ascentris also recently added both Patrick Tyson and James Dockery to its team. Mr. Tyson, who previously worked for JCR Capital and KPMG, earned a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Washington and an MBA from the University of Texas. Mr. Dockery, who recently graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina with a B.S. in Business Administration, previously worked as a summer analyst for Realty Capital Management and Trinity Partners. Both Mr. Tyson and Mr. Dockery are part of Ascentris’ Cradle-to-Grave investment team, working on underwriting new acquisitions, evaluating development opportunities and asset managing the firm’s portfolio across all property types in multiple markets.
