Ascentris Announces WiredScore Certification of 1M sf of Office Space
Denver, CO (December 18, 2019) – Ascentris announced today that it has certified over 1M square feet across six office properties through WiredScore. WiredScore, a commercial real estate rating program, assesses a building’s digital infrastructure, providing tenants with a measure by which they can compare potential properties’ telecom and connectivity infrastructure through a uniform rating system. This certification enables tenants to efficiently identify buildings which meet ever-evolving and increasingly important connectivity and security requirements.
Across its portfolio, Ascentris has partnered with WiredScore to identify areas for improvement and certification. Most recently, Ascentris achieved a Gold Certification at 1735 N Lynn, a 295K sf office building in the Rosslyn submarket of Washington, D.C. and a Silver Certification at Kierland Corporate Center II, an 82K sf office building in the Scottsdale submarket of Phoenix, AZ. With the achievement, Kierland Corporate Center II became only the third WiredScore Certified office property in Arizona. In pursuing Wired Certification, the properties underwent comprehensive certification processes evaluating the aspects of digital infrastructure and connectivity experience which allow office tenants to stay online and maintain productivity levels.
“We are excited to partner with WiredScore throughout our office properties across the United States.” said Ascentris Senior Vice President, Denis Curran. “WiredScore’s rating system quantifies our commitment to providing an excellent workplace environment to our tenants. Connectivity and cyber security are of upmost importance among our tenants, and WiredScore allows us to improve upon existing infrastructure and measure the quality of that service.”
“Ascentris stands out among commercial real estate owners by clearly demonstrating a commitment to enabling tenant productivity in its adherence to best-in-class connectivity standards,” said WiredScore CEO & Founder, Arie Barendrecht.
