Ascentris Receives WiredScore Certification Across 12 Properties; 120 North LaSalle Becomes First High-Rise in the U.S. to Achieve RESET Air Core & Shell Certification

Ascentris, a Denver-based real estate private equity firm, announced the achievement of two advanced building certifications across 12 properties in its portfolio. The certifications highlight the properties’ digital and mechanical infrastructure as well as their focus on tenant and resident health and wellbeing.

In April 2021, ten of Ascentris’ office properties totaling 1.9 million square feet and two multifamily properties totaling 500 units received WiredScore certifications. One of the multifamily properties, The Residences at Glenwood in Raleigh, North Carolina, became just the third multifamily property in the United States to achieve WiredScore certification.

WiredScore evaluates digital connectivity and smart technology infrastructure in commercial real estate, scoring properties based on connectivity, infrastructure, readiness and innovation. Certification confirms that the properties meet high standards for reliable connectivity and technological capacity required by modern tenants and residents.

In March 2021, 120 N LaSalle achieved RESET Air certification. RESET Air is the world’s first sensor-based and performance-driven indoor air quality certification program. The certification for 120 N LaSalle includes both Core & Shell certification for the base building mechanical systems and Commercial Interiors certification for tenant office spaces.

120 N LaSalle became the first high-rise building in the United States to achieve RESET Core & Shell certification. The designation confirms that the building’s HVAC systems maintain indoor air quality above the standards required for modern high-performing buildings.
